Job Title 01: Structural Engineer
Ref No: SAL12026

Role Profile:

The Structural Engineer will have responsibility for the feasibility studies, preparation of preliminary and detailed designs, preparation of tender documentation, construction supervision and contract management for various buildings and infrastructure projects. The Structural Engineer should be registered or merit registration with Engineers Board of Kenya as a Professional Engineer, have good project design experience, be knowledgeable in the use of engineering software and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills .

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent from an EBK accredited institution.
• Must have at least five (5) years of experience as a Structural Engineer in the design and construction supervision of Structures in Buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Registered or merit registration with the Engineers Board of Kenya as a Professional Engineer.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Structural Analysis and other structural engineering design software
• Excellent people skills including interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

IThe Water & Sanitation Engineer will have responsibility for the feasibility studies, preparation of preliminary and detailed designs, Preparation of reports, preparation of tender documentation, construction supervision and contract management for various Water Supply and Sanitation projects. The Water & Sanitation Engineer should be registered or merit registration with Engineers Board of Kenya as a Professional Engineer, have good project design experience, be knowledgeable in the use of engineering software and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills .

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an EBK accredited institution.
• Must have at least five (5) years of experience as a Water & Sanitation Engineer in the design and construction supervision of Water Supply & Sanitation projects.
• Registered or merit registration with the Engineers Board of Kenya as a Professional Engineer.

The Roads Engineer will have responsibility for the feasibility studies, preparation of preliminary and detailed designs, Preparation of reports, preparation of tender documentation, construction supervision and contract management for various Roads and Transportation projects. The Roads Engineer should be registered or merit registration with Engineers Board of Kenya as a Professional Engineer, have good project design experience, be knowledgeable in the use of engineering software and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills .

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an EBK accredited institution.
• Must have at least five (5) years of experience as a Roads Engineer in the design and construction supervision of Roads projects.
• Registered or merits registration with the Engineers Board of Kenya as a Professional Engineer.
• Proficient in Civil3D, INFRAWORKS and other Highway design software.
• Excellent people skills including interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
